Forum 2009: "Innovating for the health of all"

Welcome to the TropIKA.net Knowledge Hub set up for Forum 2009: "Innovating for the health of all," the annual meeting of the Global Forum for Health Research being held at the Palacio de las Convenciones in Havana, Cuba from 16-20 November, 2009.

Forum 2009 marks the 13th annual meeting of the Global Forum for Health Research, founded in 1997. It was at Forum 11, in Beijing, China that the TropIKA.net knowledge platform and the first TropIKA.net Knowledge Hub were launched.

The Knowledge Hub provides in-depth coverage of the meeting and an opportunity for participants anywhere to comment on reports and activities. Simply sign in and join the discussion.

“Forum 2009 was a landmark event bringing together over 900 participants from 80 countries to learn about ‘Innovating for the health of all’. Cuba proved to be the ideal setting for such a meeting, a country that has used innovation to deliver first world health indicators on a low budget”.
